In the real estate sector, joint business is a fixed concept and not synonymous with a joint transaction. More than one real estate agent is involved in the joint real estate business.
Common practice are the following three forms:

Hamburg joint transaction
with two jointly acting brokers
– Cooperation between the real estate agent and a sub-broker as a “subcontractor”
– Cooperation between the two real estate agents on the part of the bidder and the seeker
In order to avoid inconsistencies in the course of the cooperation or, to put it positively, to settle everything by mutual agreement, a short written agreement is concluded, the
cooperation agreement
. From a legal point of view, it has the same effect as a contract, for example the real estate agent contract.
