The following text is intended to show the reader what to consider. For this purpose, a checklist of purchase properties is created for him.

So, let's go – into the checklist of buying real estate:

1. Although it is not yet everyone’s business, interest in the real estate market has already increased considerably in recent years. And according to the usual economic laws, an increased interest on the buyer side makes for what? Exactly: for rising prices. It is therefore important to classify a price and not just to rely on the market to continue to rise in the coming years. Now you’re probably wondering how you can rank a price correctly. Admittedly, this is not easy and involves a little work. Helpful sources for the search are the prices for comparable properties in the same area or land market reports of the expert committees.

2nd location, location, location. The well-known saying that only three things are important when buying real estate (namely the location, the location and, last but not least, the location) strikes again. You’ve probably heard it before, but I assure you that it’s more than a truism. How do I get to that? Well, just put yourself in the position of the prospective buyer: Would you like to live in a property that has no connection to public transport at all? Which does not provide access to regional infrastructure with food markets, sports clubs and shopping centres? That’s far from your family and your friend? Well, I don’t.

3. The third item on the purchase property checklist is no less significant: the property itself. More specifically, the structure of the coveted building. In order to avoid looking into the tube after signing the purchase agreement, you should consult a construction expert during the negotiations.

4. A look at the crucial documents should not be underestimated, so that you can classify the year of construction as the date of the last renovation. In addition, the area in square meters is important in order to be able to compare the price per square meter.

5. The last point on our shopping list: When financing, it can save you not only a lot of money, but also later trouble if you get several offers and you compare the respective conditions with each other.

Conclusion: Of course, these were not all aspects to consider when buying a property. In order to get a first overview, this checklist of purchase properties is wonderfully suitable. In addition, the advantages of buying a property became clear: you can not only inhabit it yourself, but also rent it out and understand it as an investment or step in building up assets.
